SPE have officially launched their sustainability plan. Across the complete supply chain, from our customers’ customers through to our suppliers’ suppliers, sympathetic consideration for how our actions impact the environment around us is hugely important.
To demonstrate our commitment to making positive change we have launched the SPE Sustainability Plan. Built around three pillars of the Planet, Society, and Advancement.
The Planet
Actions based around Six Steps which include Renewable Energy, Supplier Program, and Heating and Lighting, which aims to improve our impact on the environment and work toward net-zero.
Society
Actions focussed on corporate social responsibility, which include employee welfare, our OFSTED registered in-house apprentice training centre, and our support for local community charities and organisations.
Advancement
Continual improvement activities, embracing of new technologies, and partnering with national and regional bodies and research centres, and joining working groups in order to advance sustainable practices in manufacturing SMEs.
