SPE join Rolls Royce and Make UK working platforms on Sustainability
Here at SPE we value the environment and take our impact on the climate especially seriously. Likewise, manufacturing has a huge effect on the environment, but also has the potential to make some of the biggest positive contributions, through affirmative actions and valuable output.
With this in mind, SPE has joined two highly influential sustainability working groups – the Rolls Royce Sustainability Working Group and the Make UK Sustainability Working Group.
Make UK represents a significant proportion of the UK’s manufacturing sector, while Rolls Royce is a British multinational aerospace and defence company, one of the largest in the World and a FTSE 100 company. By being on the sustainability working groups for these two organisations it allows SPE to be part of and help shape the environmental impact of manufacturing in the UK.
