SPE have achieved the Investors in the Environment Bronze Award
In line with our Sustainability Plan which outlines SPE’s areas of social responsibility including our strategy for working towards Net Zero, SPE have recently been awarded the Investors in the Environment Bronze 2022.
Investors in the Environment (IIE) is a national environmental accreditation scheme designed to help companies reduce their footprint through adopting practical, meaningful approaches towards net zero while measuring and auditing an organisations progress and recognising success.
SPE have put in place sustainable development goals which encompass four key areas: Understand Impacts, Act Quickly, Sustainable Development and a Positive Difference to Tomorrow. The goals, projects and successes so far have been spearheaded by a team of Green Champions to drive numerous projects by month on month and communicate across the organisation.
Achieving the Bronze award is a step along the path towards Net Zero and having a positive environmental impact. We’re already on our way to the next step of the journey working towards Silver.
